Here I am just chillin' on Mommy's new lounge chair.
My Mommy turned 30 today. Needless to say she was very
depressed but everyone helped make the day better with
their phone calls, emails, cards and gifts.
Thank you to everyone for making this day special for her.

Scott and I have finally finished redoing the front yard.
We planted new plants, put out fresh pinestraw
and bought a few things for the porch.
The difference is really amazing!

Is that Bryson's playroom?
It's actually the living room.
Somehow Bryson's toys end up
in every room in the house.

Here is Bryson's room.
Instead of painting murals on the walls,
Mommy decided to paint pictures and frame them.
Everything else is very similar to his room in C'ville.
I think it's time for a haircut.

Tired baby!

I had alot of fun at the waterpark.
Daddy and I played in the fountains.
The water was too cold for Mommy.
We took Bryson to Carowinds yesterday.
He wasn't feeling very well so he wouldn't
ride anything other than the carousel.

Happy 4th of July!
Bryson had to put the finishing touches on our flag.

He likes to slide by himself but
sometimes he goes a little too fast.

He can climb up the ladder all by himself.

Look at Bryson's new playset!
As soon as we saw this in the backyard
we knew this was the house for us!
We have moved! Here is our new house.
Bryson is so excited. He is waving from the front porch.
Right now we are still busy unpacking but as soon
as we get a room together I will download pictures.

It has been almost four months since my last posting. As many of you know my mom fell ill over Christmas and was eventually diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer on January 17th. After weeks of tests, treatments and even an attempt at experimental surgery she lost the battle last week on March 18th. The entire family is still in shock. It's hard to understand how a young, healthy, beautiful woman could die so suddenly from such a dreadful disease. I count my blessings that I got to spend her last 8 weeks by her side and even held her hand as she took her last breath.

I cannot even begin to describe the pain and suffering that I am faced with after losing not only my mother, but my best friend. The only thing that has kept me going is my sweet little angel, Bryson Reid. He is the ray of sunshine that puts a smile on my face. At almost 19 months he is still the life of the party and never meets a stranger. He can carry on in-depth conversations, maybe not in English but in "Bry-Bry" language. And...he is swimming now! I know no one will believe me but the child is not afraid of water at all. At the beach he will run into the water with waves almost knocking him over. At the pool he will jump right in from the edge (luckily I have always been there to catch him). We have to keep a life vest on him at all times just in case.

Unfortunately, I do not have any new pictures downloaded to post at this time but hopefully I will have a few minutes this weekend to get that done. I'm sure you all are just as anxious to see him as I am to show him off. :)

Mom, will you read this book to me?
Yes, Bryson is watching FOOTBALL with his Daddy.
(Am I in trouble or what?)
This is so much fun!
Just Chillin!
Guess who gave me my own
tennis raquet and tennis balls.
I know I hit the ball here
but I'm not sure how. Uncle Logan
will have to give me lessons.
Santa must know that I love to read
because he brought me lots and lots of books.

Is that the Grinch that stole Christmas?
No, that's just Bryson being grumpy.
I think he is ready for a nap.
A swingset! I can't wait until it stops
raining so I can swing and slide.
More stuff outside?
My tractor goes really fast.
Mommy and Daddy can't catch me now.

It makes a lot of noise.
I got a musical instrument set.
Santa brought me lots of toys.
I must have been a really good boy.
Christmas Eve night Daddy read "The Night Before Christmas"
to me before putting me to bed.
I also got lots of Wiggles DVDs.
My Mamaw and Papaw gave me a TMX Elmo.
It took me a while to warm up to him
but now I think he is funny.
I love riding my Radio Flyer fire engine.
