Out of everything that Bryson got from the Easter bunny,
he liked the plastic eggs the best.

It has been almost four months since my last posting. As many of you know my mom fell ill over Christmas and was eventually diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer on January 17th. After weeks of tests, treatments and even an attempt at experimental surgery she lost the battle last week on March 18th. The entire family is still in shock. It's hard to understand how a young, healthy, beautiful woman could die so suddenly from such a dreadful disease. I count my blessings that I got to spend her last 8 weeks by her side and even held her hand as she took her last breath.

I cannot even begin to describe the pain and suffering that I am faced with after losing not only my mother, but my best friend. The only thing that has kept me going is my sweet little angel, Bryson Reid. He is the ray of sunshine that puts a smile on my face. At almost 19 months he is still the life of the party and never meets a stranger. He can carry on in-depth conversations, maybe not in English but in "Bry-Bry" language. And...he is swimming now! I know no one will believe me but the child is not afraid of water at all. At the beach he will run into the water with waves almost knocking him over. At the pool he will jump right in from the edge (luckily I have always been there to catch him). We have to keep a life vest on him at all times just in case.

Unfortunately, I do not have any new pictures downloaded to post at this time but hopefully I will have a few minutes this weekend to get that done. I'm sure you all are just as anxious to see him as I am to show him off. :)

Mom, will you read this book to me?
Yes, Bryson is watching FOOTBALL with his Daddy.
(Am I in trouble or what?)
This is so much fun!
Just Chillin!
Guess who gave me my own
tennis raquet and tennis balls.
I know I hit the ball here
but I'm not sure how. Uncle Logan
will have to give me lessons.
Santa must know that I love to read
because he brought me lots and lots of books.

Is that the Grinch that stole Christmas?
No, that's just Bryson being grumpy.
I think he is ready for a nap.
A swingset! I can't wait until it stops
raining so I can swing and slide.
More stuff outside?
My tractor goes really fast.
Mommy and Daddy can't catch me now.

It makes a lot of noise.
I got a musical instrument set.
Santa brought me lots of toys.
I must have been a really good boy.
Christmas Eve night Daddy read "The Night Before Christmas"
to me before putting me to bed.
I also got lots of Wiggles DVDs.
My Mamaw and Papaw gave me a TMX Elmo.
It took me a while to warm up to him
but now I think he is funny.
I love riding my Radio Flyer fire engine.

They also gave me a huge Tonka Forklift Truck.
Daddy was just as excited as I was.
Then we had Christmas with Grandma and Granddaddy Crosby.
They gave me the best gift, a musicbox that plays 10 different songs.
I danced all afternoon. Miss Lynn stopped by to visit us.
She couldn't believe how well I can dance.
Aunt Jenna played Ride the Horsey
with me. She is so funny.
She gave me a Leap Frog driving toy.
I like to make it go Vrroomm.
On Thursday we drove to Walterboro to exchange
gifts with Jessica. Here she is giving me a big kiss.
One of Bryson's early Christmas presents was his own recliner.
He likes to sit in it and read books or watch the Wiggles.
Bryson must have slept really well last night.
Just look at that bedhead.
The first week of December Mommy and I went
Christmas shopping with Aunt Jenna and Jessica.
We were so good that Mommy and Aunt Jenna let us ride
a few rides in the mall. It was a lot of fun!

Bryson's babysitters asleep on the job.
Yum! Grammy this is really good!
It wouldn't be a trip to Grammy's without
Grammy feeding Bryson something that Mommy
doesn't allow him to eat. Here he is eating
a cheeseburger with all the trimmings.
Bryson finishes out this tackle with a head lock.
Bryson's favorite game was tackling Logan.
Last week Bryson and Mommy took a trip
to Florida for a much needed vacation.
Bryson and Uncle Logan played together all week.
Logan's favorite game was for Bryson
to chase him while he rode Bryson's tractor.
