I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since I updated Bryson's blog! Wow - how time flies! Let's see...what have we been doing this past year? Well, January 1 I finally decided to get on a scale to see exactly how much weight I had gained since losing my mom. I was literally in shock. I gained over 40 lbs by stuffing my face with chocolate chip cookie dough for 9 months. I made a New Year's resolution to workout 5 days a week and I started that same day. I guess I have been at the gym for the past year and that's why I haven't found time to blog. :) In February, Logan started playing on the tennis team at school. That meant practice everyday and matches a couple times a week. I was a typical tennis "mom" at every match (home and away) and Bryson became their unofficial mascot. That took up alot of our time this past spring but it was well worth it. Logan was only a Sophomore and it was his first year on the team but he still was awarded MVP at the end of the season. We were all so proud of him. In March, Bryson and I chaperoned three 16 year olds in Myrtle Beach for Spring Break. Enough said about that! This summer we pretty much lived at the pool or the waterpark. We also had several visitors which was a lot of fun. In September we took Bryson to Disney World for his birthday. He had so much fun riding the rides and getting to meet Mickey and all of the other Disney characters. Bryson also started preschool this year. He loves it. He only goes three days a week and is upset on the days that he doesn't get to go. Then we had Halloween. Bryson dressed up like the Chick-fil-a cow. We had so many parties and festivals to go to. We even went to three different pumpkin patches in search of the perfect pumpkin for daddy to carve. Now it's Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas is just around the corner. I'm sure that we will be busy shopping and going to parties but I will try to update this more often. Maybe I should make that my New Year's resolution. :)
